The Apophatic Discourse Research Network provides a forum for interdisciplinary discussion of apophasis in philosophy, theology, art, literature, psychoanalysis and other fields. It sponsors a series of symposia where participants can reflect on the role of apophasis in a range forms of thought and practice.
The first symposium will be held at Middlesex University, London on Friday, 19 June 2015. Several artists will talk about the role of apophasis in their own work and there will be responses from representatives of other disciplines.
